As a Recruitment Consultancy, we are currently assisting our client in finding a talented Agricultural Engineer to join their operations team in Mazarrón, Spain.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Coordinate all project phases — from design and implementation to optimization and scaling.
• Manage the planning, execution, and control of agricultural technology projects, ensuring alignment with KPIs, timelines, and budgets.
• Supervise high-tech greenhouse operations focused on intensive and sustainable production.
• Oversee the integration of automation, sensors, and climate control systems.
• Act as a bridge between technology partners, engineers, and growers, ensuring smooth communication and goal alignment.
• Analyze production, environmental, and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of technical experts, suppliers, and field staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering (or related technical/agronomic field).
• Proven experience in intensive or high-tech greenhouse production.
• Hands-on experience with automation, IoT, or climate control systems.
• Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset, able to interpret sensor data, production KPIs, and cost metrics.
• Result-oriented, with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Valued: knowledge of Farm Management Software, data analytics tools, or digital agriculture platforms.
