As a recruitment consultancy, we’re looking for an Area Sales Manager for our client in Ivory Coast. In this role, you’ll lead the sales team for the fragrance sector nationwide, so strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the local market are a must.
RESPONSABILITIES
- To develop three-year sales plan and budgets/costs, reporting to relevant teams and ensuring compliance through regular reviews.
- Increase the company's sales and gross margin in line with targets and strategic plan, making pricing and margin decisions, where appropriate.
- Developing new business by identifying potential sales opportunities and following up on new leads and sample requests.
- Managing territorial priorities and appropriate routes to market.
- Supporting the identification of new trends and markets that impact the future performance and needs of the business.
- Timely reporting on the business (e.g. C2G visit reports) in designated market, identifying any threats or opportunities that arise.
- Timely training, support and advice of agents and distributors.
- Gather data on market pricing and competitor behavior to share with relevant sales and marketing teams.
- To visit customers to explain, promote and recommend products in designated markets and regions.
- Promote new and existing products by attending trade shows and undertaking marketing projects.
REQUIEREMENTS
- At least 4 years' experience in Sales roles ( exp. in fragrance field will be an asset)
- Mandatory residence and/or working permit in Ivory Coast.
- French is a must. Minimum English level required (interviews will be in both languages).
- Willingness to travel around Ivory Coast
- Basic computer skills
